Terms of Use

These terms are between you and Solution Sidekick LLC for the Civic Watch app and related support pages. If you do not agree, do not use the app or site.

1. The game

Civic Watch is a first-person shooter with bot deathmatch and optional online free-for-all. Apple’s Media Services Terms also apply to anything distributed through the App Store, including In-App Purchases.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play the app on Apple devices you own or control, via the App Store. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or cheat in a way that harms other players.

3. Purchases

The app is free to download. Six operatives (Rook, Crane, Floyd, Eric, Brenda, Preston) and the factory gun finish are included. Extra operatives and gun finishes are optional non-consumable In-App Purchases billed by Apple. There are no loot boxes, no subscriptions, and no third-party ads. Restore Purchases is in Settings → Profile and re-grants non-consumables this Apple Account owns. Purchases are not refundable except as Apple’s terms require.

4. Fair play

Do not share abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening, or otherwise illegal display names. Do not harass other players. Access may be restricted for violations. Report a name or player to joseph@codecreations.net.

5. Your names & content

You keep whatever rights you have in the display names you create. You give us a license to show them to other players in your lobby or match. Do not use names you do not have the right to use.

6. Multiplayer

Online matches depend on player networks and service availability. Local-network discovery may use your LAN when you join nearby hosts. Connection quality is not guaranteed. Game Center achievements and leaderboards are optional and use Apple’s service.

7. Intellectual property & affiliation

Civic Watch is an original game. It is not affiliated with Nintendo, Rare, or any James Bond franchise. Arena themes may evoke classic spy settings; the art, layouts, and code are original. Third-party motion-capture and CC0 art/audio are used under licenses we hold.

8. Disclaimer

The app and site are provided “as is.” Entertainment software. We disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent the law allows. Our liability for any claim related to the app or site is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, except where the law says we cannot limit liability.

9. Kids

The game depicts stylized firearm combat. Online players can share display names. The app is not enrolled in Apple’s Kids Category. Parents should decide if it is right for their household.

10. Changes

We may update the game and these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
